The Choir of NDL

The NDL Choir is an annual workshop held every Monday during the study period. It aims to develop students' vocal skills through technical work (breath control, pitch accuracy, articulation), physical engagement (posture, stage presence), and performance interpretation (expression, listening skills), covering a diverse repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary music. The goal is for everyone to improve vocally, refine their expressiveness, and share the joy of singing together, while also participating in various artistic projects throughout the year. Planned events include a joint concert with the Cathedral Choir in October 2026 centered on the life of Calvin, participation in the December 2026 end-of-year celebrations featuring Genevan songs, and two productions in March and April 2027: *Smile!*—a musical journey from French *mélodie* to Broadway—and *The Show Must Go On*, a musical exploring the behind-the-scenes world of live performance. An audition is scheduled for Monday, September 7, during the study period, and activities will begin on Monday, September 14, also during the study period.
